Domestic Violence Advocacy Day 2026 showed the power of what can happen when survivors, advocates and leaders come together with one strong, united voice at the Mississippi State Capitol! We filled the halls with stories, courage and a clear message: domestic violence has no place in Mississippi.

From a moving press conference that uplifted survivor voices and called for lifesaving legislation, to time spent inside the chambers witnessing the legislative process in action, the day was filled with moments of impact and hope.

Our legislative luncheon, featuring survivor and advocate Ishuanna Gully, energized supporters to keep pushing forward, while the recognition of Senator Brice Wiggins and Representative Fabian Nelson as our 2026 Legislative Champions showed that change is possible when policymakers stand with survivors.

Thank you to every advocate, survivor and supporter who showed up, spoke out and stood shoulder to shoulder with MCADV. Your presence sends a clear message: we will not be silent, and together, we are building a safer Mississippi for all.
